Remembering Memory is a documentary inspired by the
autobiographical texts of writer Hélène
Cixous. Contemporary and archival images are woven
together with lyrical sequences of Cixous' childhood
memories alongside interviews with such imoprtant
cultural figures as Jaques Derrida, Anne Hébert,
Ariane Mnouchkine and Marie-Claire Blais.
